ACHIEVEMENTS

From the academic session 2011-12 to 2014-15, this school has achieved exceptional results. The Government of HP has awarded 9 Laptops, 25 Meritorious Certificates and a Sum of Rs Two Lakhs and Twenty Thousands to the outgoing students of 10th class for the session 2014-15 from H.P.Board of School Education. In other curricular activities Master Ankush took part in National Boxing Competition and got selected .

Curriculum, Examination And Promotions

• The School is following the CBSE Syllabus and the medium of instruction is English with Hindi as the Second Language. Sanskrit is also taught compulsory from class V to VIII as a third Language.

• To keep a regular track of the progress of our children the system of Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation System has been introduced. In this system of evaluation the performance of each individual is assesed through SA1 & SA 2 followed by PA 1, PA 2, PA 3 & PA 4.Result is compiled for these tests and performance of each child is discussed in staff meeting. Report of these tests is sent to the parents to keep them in touch.

• The School follows the CCE system of Examination The syllabus covered in SA 1(which includes the syllabus of PA 1 & PA 2) examination is not included in SA 2(which includes the syllabus of PA 3 & PA 4 examination). Promotion to the next higher class is decided on the cumulative achievements of the student in all these examinations .

General Rules

• Children must come in proper, neat and clean school uniform. Those who come to school improperly dressed, may be excluded from the class room or even sent home.

• The personal hygiene of students is also very essential.

• Children should reach the school in time. Their absence must be intimated to the school through application signed by a parent or Guardian.

• Parents are requested not to approach the teachers directly while they are teaching in the classes.

• On every working day parents /guardians can meet the teachers between 2:45 P.M. To 3:15 P.M.

• Pupils are forbidden to leave the school premises during school hours and recess without the prior permission of the Principal.

• A Students who do not bring their home work may not be allowed to attend classes.

• Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disrespect and disobedience towards teachers and other members of school staff may entail punishment or expulsion.

• This being a co-educational schools, the boys and girls must show proper respect and decorum for each other. The use of a less cultural language is strictly prohibited.

• Every student should carry with him/her school diary.

• Children must be in their respective class-rooms at least five minutes before the time fixed for the class to commence.

• The warning bell before class is a signal to go to assembly or to their respective class rooms. This should be done in silence.

• Care must be taken for all school property and no pupil should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the wall or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal. Any damage done will be made good by one who does it. Any one who sees something being damaged should report the matter even if he/she does not know who has done it.

• Running, Playing, shouting and whistling inside the school building is prohibited.

• The name, standard and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his/her belongings.

• The students should behave in a refined manner wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers & elders when they meet them.

• The school reserve the right to ask a student to be withdrawn for any cause which, in its discretion, it deems to be reasonable.

• To enable timely planning regarding intake of new students, parents must inform the Principal, in writing latest by 31st March in case their ward would not be rejoining school the next session. If such intimation is not received by the above date all the annual charges for the next session would be charged before issue of the transfer certificate.

• The school may after the fees and other charges from time to time.

• Parents can meet the principal on all the working days.

• The result once declared will not be reconsidered again. Admission and continuation in the school is not a matter of right for any student. In case of expulsion no damage can be claimed.

• Security will be refunded on written request from parents, on receipt. Students has to forfeit his security if not taken in the same year/session of withdrawal from the school.

Morning Assembly

Morning assembly is an integral feature of the school activity. For inculcation of moral, social and ethical values among the students it plays an important role. Before starting the day's work, the students are made to pray before God to bless them with the power to work hard and to stand by truth in every thick and thin. Short speeches are delivered by the staff and students on the days of the national and cultural importance to emphasize their significance in our life.

Holidays

The school functions from Monday to Saturday; except that the second Saturday of a month is observed as a holiday. Most of the holidays listed by the Central Govt. are observed in the school.

School Uniform

The school is recognized by the system it follows. Therefore, all students are expected to attend school in the prescribed uniform.

1) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday : Gray Pants and White Shirt with red tie and black lace shoes

2) Wednesday and Saturday : Track Suit (Yellow upper and cocacola lower)

Admission and Registration

Registration for admission normally starts in the first week of April every year. Parents desiring admission of their wards/children are requested to complete the enclosed application form for registration and submit it the school office with registration fee, Which is neither refundable nor constitutes an assurance and is valid only for the academic year for which the candidate is registered. Children whose name are registered are called for a test and are interviewed in March / April. If a candidate does not appear for the test is rejected in the interview, he/she forfeits the registration number and registration fee. Minimum age for Nursery Class is 3+years as on 31st March of the academic year. Provision of Admission for 25% Children belonging to weaker section and disadvantaged group in class IST.
